HR Coordinator

Our team here at JMC are now seeking a HR Coordinator to join us on a permanent full time basis located in Exeter, near the Airport.

The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Manager and be responsible for providing comprehensive HR administration support within the company.

Main Duties and Responsibilities to Include:

  • Provide HR department with administration support as relevant
  • Ensure the HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation
  • Coordinate and administer processes and onboarding relevant to JMC visa sponsored employees
  • Enter accurate and timely new starter information on the database and ensure personnel files are kept up to date
  • Liaise with relevant line managers on employee probation reviews and annual employee reviews and loading information onto HR software as appropriate
  • Issue HR related documentation as required, including employee Welcome Packs
  • Assist with producing appropriate HR reports on items including absence and annual leave
  • Assist with the reviewing and updating of company policies and procedures
  • Be a trusted point of contact for all HR related queries
  • Responsible for collating all employee benefits information and advertising them within the company
  • Assist with adhoc HR related projects
  • Assist and coordinate company in house training and employee learning and development programmes

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Strong administration and good organisation skills
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • The ability to work accurately with attention to detail
  • Be confident about gathering facts and statistics

Knowledge:

  • Use of IT packages including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Internet Explorer

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a HR administration role is desirable

Qualifications:

  • Educated to GCSE standard equivalent
