JMC Group welcomes Ian Thompson to Business Development team
JMC Group a trusted provider of aviation manpower and engineering services has appointed Ian Thompson within its business development team. Ian will also support JMC sister company ELMS Aviation, the cloud-based risk management competence and compliance specialist in its drive to attract new customers.
With 20 years’ experience supporting engineering companies and airlines, Ian co-founded an aviation recruitment business assisting clients in the EMEA region help secure civil and defence personnel to support fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
A former commodities trader looking after various blue chip energy clients before moving into aviation, Ian established Excel after working for a Cambridge-based aviation recruitment specialist. He established The Aviation Network Group in 2019, facilitating collaboration and knowledge-sharing among its senior aerospace management membership. Its well-attended networking events attract principal MRO and air finance sponsors.
