Interest In Foreign Travel Rises For 2021
2020 has been a year to go down in history as one of the toughest to the economy, job security and several industry sectors, however there was light at the end of the tunnel!
In early December last year, the Pfizer vaccine was officially approved, and the future of 2021 was starting to look a little brighter.
After many unsettling months, green shoots have started emerging in the flight and holiday industry. Airlines and travel companies have reported positively in the market, due to an increase in website traffic since the announcement of the first approved vaccine.
Companies such as easyJet, Ryan Air, Jet2 Holidays and Lufthansa seeing an average of over 1.6 million more site visitors in the month of December alone.
Due to the demand and interest in people wanting to travel in the not-too-distant future, our knowledge of the industry tells us that there will be an increase in aircraft service needs, in time for passengers to travel again.
