Health, Safety and Compliance Coordinator

Hybrid (London Heathrow)

JMC Recruitment are currently working with a leading Airline who are currently looking for a Health, Safety and Compliance Coordinator to join their expanding team.

This is a Permanent, Full time position that offers Hybrid working, candidates will need to be able to reliably commute to the company head office at Heathrow Airport at least twice per week.

This role is largely remote and as such requires a motivated self-starter who is able to work under their own initiative and able to manage their own time effectively.

Duties of the Health, Safety and Compliance Coordinator will include:

·       Supports Station Management team by safeguarding and improving flight safety and security, achieved by ensuring that processes and procedures are executed and documented in full compliance with company and local authority requirements.

·       Prepares and assists the Station Management team with internal and external audits and inspections

·       Monitor, analyse and steers through action planning the safety level of operations at all UK & Ireland stations

·       Ensures that, in cooperation with participating airlines, the Emergency Management organisation, manuals and materials comply consistently with the company’s standards

·       Support the Station Management team with the implementation, execution and follow up of flight safety, work safety and security projects

·       Monitors and supports the Station Management team in training and educating in all areas of security and safety compliance

·       Act as support for all UK & Ireland stations as and when required with any ad hoc projects presented by Regional Stations Manager and/or Head Office.

The successful Health, Safety and Compliance Coordinator will be able to demonstrate the below skills and attributes:

·       Substantial experience of working in an operational airline position in areas such as health and safety, operations and/or aircraft handling.

·       Required to be a self- starter and has a high level of independence.

·       Must be proficient in planning and organising.

·       Thorough knowledge of ground safety policies, processes, procedures and station administration.

·       Strong Microsoft software knowledge

·       Have the right to work in the UK
