The Role

This is a Permanent Position based in Bishops Stortford. This role is for 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.

The Quality Engineer will be mainly responsible with assisting with quality issues and with assurance of the Quality system and to maintain compliance of approvals held by the company.

Other responsibilities of the Quality Engineer will include:

·        Conduct internal audits

·        Assist in making provision for training of Quality staff

·        Keeping manuals, expositions and other systems documents up to date

·        Liaise with production personnel regarding technical queries.

·        Communicate with customers regarding quality and technical queries.

·        Monitor existing systems and instigate changes or bring in and facilitate new systems.

·        Assist with the control of supplier records and ratings.

·        Carry out root cause analysis

·        Key Performance Indicator, Delivery Schedule Adherence and On Time Delivery data management.

Requirements

In order to be successful in their application, the Quality Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

·        Demonstratable experience in a similar role

·        Good working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001

·        Knowledge of Q-Pulse and EASA Part21G would be advantageous
