Operations Development Manager

Are you an experienced Operations Development Manager looking for a new opportunity?

JMC are working with a leading MRO Organisation based in Stansted, looking to recruit an Operations Development Manager to join their team.

This is a Permanent Position based in Stansted with an immediate start date.

The responsibilities of the Operations Development Manager will involve:

• Leading the proposal and delivery of a number of key strategic projects that build operational capability and improve efficiency
• Works closely with management teams to find solutions to challenges
• Takes ownership over cross functional project teams
• Ensuring changes required across people, systems and processes are mapped out, delivered and embedded, managing resistance and conflict appropriately
• Prioritising resource cross functionally to ensure maximum efforts on projects
• Ensuring responsibilities of each team are understood
• Collaborating with the senior management team to define what the key strategic projects will be implemented
• Using data and constant innovative thinking to identify opportunities to improve the way things are done
• Developing business cases and project assessments to ensure prioritisation of initiatives

In order to be successful in this role, the Operations Development Manager will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• PRINCE 2 Qualification (or equivalent)
• Lean Six Sigma Qualification (or equivalent)
• At least 4 years’ experience within a project management/operations position, ideally in a manufacturing/production environment
• Experience working within a fast paced, high volume engineering environment
• Experience with process mapping tools
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage people at all levels within an organisation
• Excellent analytical and data management skills
• Right to live and work in the UK
