Are you an experienced Fitter looking for a new opportunity?
JMC Aviation is working with a leading MRO Organisation based in Ramsgate, looking to recruit a Fitter to join their expanding team.
This is a Permanent Position based in Ramsgate with an immediate start date.
The responsibilities of the Fitter will involve:
– Disassembling Hydraulic/Mechanical components down to their sub/individual components
– Carrying out inspections duties including interpreting technical data, fault diagnosis and identify component wear, damage or corrosion
– Using precise calibrated measuring equipment
– Populating and completing computer-generated documentation
– Carrying out assembly of various Hydraulic and Mechanical assemblies/components ready for final testing and inspection
– Supporting the Test Bay Engineer by testing various hydraulic/pneumatic units using test procedures and populating test reports on completion
– Maintaining and ensuring implementation of all standard operating practices and procedures
– Ensuring strict compliance and implementation of all safety standards
– Ensuring quality standards are maintained in accordance with CAA, EASA, FAA and company procedures
– Complying with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, paying attention to areas of high risk or containing significant hazards
– Ensuring quality requirements are always met
– Ensuring all training both internal and external is recorded and passed to the Quality Department
– Adhering to industry standard QA rules and regulations
– Ensure all your team are aware of the relevant Environmental, Health and Safety requirements for working in FPBU
– Adhering to the AEM Behaviours for the Hydraulic Team
In order to be successful in this role, the Fitter will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Background in aviation mechanical or hydraulic engineering
– Numerate and literate – minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
– Ability to interpret and follow in detail compliance manuals
– Right to live and work in the UK
