Are you an experienced Electrical Fitter looking for a new opportunity?
JMC Aviation is working with a leading MRO Organisation based in Stansted, looking to recruit an Electrical Fitter to join their expanding team.
This is a Permanent Position based in Stansted with an immediate start date.
The Electrical Fitter will be responsible for working within the Power Generation Production Team to dismantle small electro/mechanical components (generators) down to their individual components, overhaul/repair and assemble generators ready for final testing following written instruction manuals.
The responsibilities of the Electrical Fitter will involve:
– Stripping, cleaning, inspecting and building of small electro/mechanical components (AC/DC generators/starter generators)
– Raising and completing inspection reports
– Updating details onto computer system
– Working with the team to meet production deadlines
– Maintaining quality standards in accordance with regulatory and company procedures
– Working with the team leader to meet customer service levels
– Meeting health, safety and environmental regulations
In order to be successful in this role, the Electrical Fitter will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Prior experience in an engineering/workshop environment is essential
– Experience of power generation, electrical theory is highly desirable
– ONC/HNC in Engineering desirable
– Prior experience of aerospace and/or aviation industry desirable
– Numerate and literate – minimum GCSE or equivalent essential
– Right to live and work in the UK
