JMC are working with an MRO company based in Lasham, looking to recruit a new Check Manager to join their team.

This is a Permanent Position based in Lasham.
Working Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:45 and Friday 08:00 – 15:30.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all maintenance, defect rectification and modifications carried out under their control are conducted in a smooth, compliant, safe and effective manner.
Other Duties Involve
– Understanding the General Trading Agreements (GTAs) and specific aircraft maintenance contracts pertaining to their allocated inputs
– Identifying manpower, facility, tooling and spares requirements
– Managing their allocated teams in order to provide efficient, effective, productive and compliant outputs
– Effective leadership, management and control of all maintenance personnel and supporting resources under their control at any time
– Embracing and supporting cultural and procedural changes within the business
In order to be successful in this role the Check Manager will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes
– UK CAA Part 66 B1 or B2 Licence, plus Cat C rating
– A minimum of two relevant type ratings and recency desirable (Airbus A320, Boeing B727, Boeing B737 Classic/NG and Boeing B757)
– Experience of managing aircraft checks in a base maintenance environment
– Ability to understand aircraft check data to make informed and appropriate decisions
– Right to live and work in the UK
